The first day of high school life, I have some thoughts and feelings. The passage of time can always give people some special things.

In the new environment, I feel a bit excited. Be able to recognize the new students and teachers is my greatest gains. In the next three years, we will learn、work and progress together to make our dreams come true. I will have new friends, and share the joy and sadness with them. The process of learning is also a growing process.

Similarly, I will also face many difficulties. I might have difficulties in learning and getting along with classmates , bearing some pressure in life. However, I will get stronger and get through every step of high school three years.

Today I found time was a cruel thing. Whatever man is, time always goes on. It won't stay to wait for somebody. You can't use anything to exchange time. Time is also a fair thing. Although you have a lot of money or you enjoy high reputation, time won't leave them more. Today I found I hadn't enough time. Although I have more than a-month holiday, but I found I had a lot of things to do. I had a lot of homework to do and I am essential to complete the homework as soon as I have time.

Today is march 8th--international women's day.Father wanted to please mother and let her have a good rest.He said he would cook the meals today.In fact, he is always busy with his work and knows nothing about housework.he seldom cooks.if no one cooks for him, he will eat nothing.

So mother and i were very surprised to hear what he said.But father was serious, and he said he was going to do some shopping first.he didn't know what to buy.so mother wrote all the things on a piece of paper.

1.cake 2.egg 3.tomato 4.fish 5.milk 6.salt 7.chicken

then father went out.half an hour later he came back, with a smile on his face.he brought out all the things: one cake ,two eggs,three tomatoes, four fish, five bottles of milk, six bags of salt and seven fat chickens!

mother was greatly surprised. she couldn't say a word.

The summer vacation had come round again. I was happy that I could forget about school at least for a while. Lest I fool around all through this summer vacation, I made a plan as to how to spend it. First, I thought I should go over all those things my teachers taught in the previous term so that I could have a better understanding of them. Then I thought I should take up some forms of exercise, such as walking, running and rowing, to keep me physically strong. It stood to reason that with such a good plan I should make the best of my vacation time. I did, because I lived up to what I had planned.

Li Ming is my classmate, he is always the best student in my class. The teachers speak highly of him all the time. I wondered how he can do so well, so I talked to him. He told me that he kept reading books every hour a day, if he was busy, he would do it before sleeping. I thought about most of us, we could’t wait to play computer games after we finished the homework. I could find something was different between Li Ming and other students, now I understand why, reading the books broadens his vision and enriches his mind, helping him to be a better man. So I make up my mind to keep reading.
